Let me soak up the care you offer, leaving behind the narcissists mess,
I beg you let me stay, let my eyes just shut out the worlds noise,
Let me feel appreciated and loved, not someone's tossed aside toys,
I thank you for your care and concern, for every moment I am here,
I feel your heart invite me in, even though you know I fear,
I need to just lay here, with your gentle and calm demeanor
As I soak up you kindness and care, letting you be my redeemer

I feel the warmth as you lean in, nose touching nose and then you say
"I am yours, always, yours, I am sorry you allowed that narcissist to use your heart to play,
I breath in the tears and nod in an agreement it seems
My eyes close as your fingers stroke my hair, my body responds, as i am taken to better dreams
